Like many before him, Jonathon Long's music education came from a Full Gospel Baptist Church. Those Louisiana tempered gospel chops have earned him a Guitar Centers “King of the Blues” contest where he bested over 4000 contestants. Two years later he was opening for B.B. King. His outfit is much in demand at Blues Festivals around the globe, and those audiences are more than eager to have them back, time and again. Not surprising considering that his nickname since he was 2 years old has been “Boogie.” This multi-genre star is deep dipped in the blues but writes from the heart and is known to change lanes to the pleasure of his fans worldwide. If this artist doesn’t get you on your feet, it’s time to get somebody to check your pulse for signs of a heartbeat.
