We hope you are looking forward to your upcoming Big Blues Bender with us! We just wanted to take a moment to reiterate the details of the event and also provide some helpful tips and guidelines to help ensure a smooth and timely experience for you and all our guests. If you have been to a previous Bender in the past, please don’t disregard this notice as some things have changed since last year. Please take the time to read this in its entirety.

Are there refunds?

There are No Refunds and No Cancellations under any circumstances on any orders. If you have any questions about a package or item, please contact us using the email form on this page BEFORE placing your order. The event has a very strict cancellation policy and recommends that all guests purchase travel insurance.

What is a Prebook?

A Prebook deposit lets you book a package for the 2018 Big Blues Bender before the general on sale.

What is a Prebook Token?

Guests who Prebooked will be emailed a unique code which will allow them to book a package or 4-day wristband during the 3 day Pre-Sale.

Are Prebook deposits refundable?

Guests who have paid a Prebook deposit will be emailed a unique, one-time use code which will allow them to pick their package or Four Day Wristband during the three (3) day Prebook period.

What if I didn’t Prebook? When can I purchase?

If you did not purchase a Prebook deposit, you will not be able to purchase during the Prebook on sale. Once Prebooked guests have selected their packages or Four Day Wristbands, any remaining inventory will go on sale to the general public at a later date.

How do I purchase?

What do I need to book a package?

You will need to login with (or create) a Bender Username to purchase a package. If you attended the 2016 or 2017 Big Blues Bender or purchased a prebook deposit, you will already have a username. If you or a guest need a Bender Username, you can create one during the booking process.

I do not have a roommate yet. May I add the name at a later date?

Yes, you can add your guests later, but fees will apply after July 2, 2018.

What payment types do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and checks are all accepted. No checks will be accepted within thirty (30) days of the on sale, based on availability.

How do I change the name on the reservation and is there a fee involved?

The Primary guest on the reservation can make changes by emailing Bender Support (not the hotel). Make sure to include the order number, new name, phone number, and email address. No fees will be charged through July 2, 2018. Changing names after July 2, 2018, will incur a fee of $50 for each primary attendee & $25 for each additional attendee. All name changes after August 3, 2018 will incur a fee of $50. Changes or additions, including adding unnamed guests or extra nights, must be made by August 17, 2018 to ensure the accuracy of the request.

What is the deadline to make any change to my reservation?

The Primary guest on the reservation can make changes by emailing Bender Support, include the order number and the change needed. No changes or additions will be allowed after Friday, August 17th.

I cannot attend the Bender. Can I transfer my package or Four Day Wristband(s) to someone?

There is a $50 transfer fee that must be paid before the transfer is complete and valid. When transferring a Big Blues Bender order, the primary on the reservation MUST send an email with the new guest name, address, phone number, and email address to Bender Support. Someone from Bender Support will reach out to finalize the payment and transfer.

Can I make changes to my reservation?

Only the Primary Guest can request to change or remove existing guests or to upgrade to a higher priced category. Downgrading your package to a lesser value is not allowed. The Primary Guest must request these changes by sending an email to Bender Support.

What is a Big Blues Bender account?

A Big Blues Bender account is your personal profile. You are required to have an account to book your reservation. It will allow you to access and update your reservation.

Do you offer a payment plan?

A limited amount of payment plans will be available on all packages. All payment plans will come with an automatic one time $25 fee for a Standard package or a $50 fee for Big Daddy Baller packages. All purchases are non-refundable. If you fail, for any reason, to pay any of the payments you will void your package and you will not receive a refund. Please see Terms & Conditions.

Payment Plan: Three Payments

Standard package, Initial payment – $500 or $250 per person, plus a $25 one-time fee
Standard package, First payment – 50% of the balance is due on March 15, 2018
Standard package, Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 15, 2018

Big Daddy Baller package, Initial payment – $1000 or $500 per person, plus a $50 one-time fee
Big Daddy Baller package, First payment – 50% of the balance is due on March 15, 2018
Big Daddy Baller package, Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 15, 2018

ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Missed Payments: One (1) week after missing a scheduled payment, a late fee of $15 is added to the reservation. Two (2) weeks after missing a scheduled payment, a final cancellation notice is sent, and the reservation will be canceled within seven (7) days. NO refunds will be issued back to the guest(s). If you are unable to make a payment as scheduled, please contact Support@BigBluesBender.com PRIOR to the payment due date.

Can my roommate and I split the payments and use our own credit cards?

Yes, each guest can log in individually to make their own payment for their share of the package with their own credit card information. When making the reservation, the Primary Guest can pay for their portion of the item, but the reservation must be brought current within 72 hours. The Primary Guest is responsible for making sure the reservation is current within 72 hours or will risk cancellation.

When does the music start?

Music will start at 5 pm PST on Thursday, September 6, 2018, and will end around 4 am PST on Monday, September 10, 2018. Check-out is at 11 am on Monday, September 10, 2018.

Am I guaranteed access to all shows?

Big Blues Bender is run “festival style,” with multiple shows going on simultaneously. All of these shows are general admission, so you’re welcome to come and go as you wish. There are performances where capacity is limited, however some artists perform multiple times during the event.

Are seats reserved?

Sections are reserved ie: Big Daddy Baller, VIP, & General Admission but seats are NOT reserved. Seating is first come, first served. We ask that you refrain from moving chairs and/or saving seats in any venue so that we can accommodate as many guests as comfortably as possible. Please help to keep ADA seating areas clear for those guests who need special assistance.

Where do I go if I have questions or an issue during the event?

Go to Bender Support which will be on property. Location & hours will be available closer to the event. The helpful folks at Bender Support will be able to assist you with your questions or issues. The folks working here are connected via radio to the event coordinators and have the power to either help you directly or get in contact with those who can.

Will the artists performing multiple times play the same set list?

We do not tell artists what to play. They perform what they wish to perform.

Is there a charge to park at the event?

Parking is free for regular sized vehicles to guests that have purchased a Bender package or Four Day Wristband. However, oversized vehicles will be charged a fee of $20 per day to park. The fee is subject to change.

Do we have to wear our wristbands for the entire event?

Wristbands must be worn at ALL TIMES. PLEASE do not remove, stretch, or tamper with your wristband in any way. Sharing wristbands is NOT allowed. Wristbands will not be replaced if stolen, damaged, lost, or destroyed. Wristbands are not transferable.

This is my first time at the Big Blues Bender. What should I bring with me?

Is smoking allowed in the venues?

Most venues are NON-SMOKING except for the Casino Lounge. Please be kind to your fellow Benders who do not smoke. In addition, rooms in the North tower are Non-Smoking.

What is the age limit?

Kids eleven (11) & over are welcome to the event and can attend most performances but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No discounted rates are available for children.

Can I rent a wheelchair or a scooter?

Can I bring my pet to the Bender?

The Plaza is a non-pet friendly property, except for service animals. We kindly ask that you do not bring pets as they are unable to accompany you in any of the concert areas and are not allowed at the Bender. If you require further information, please contact us using the email form on this page.

Can I bring a chair to the pool or venues?

No, but all the venues have some seating available on a first come, first served basis.

Can I use my camera?

Recording and/or broadcasting anything with a commercial purpose is prohibited without the approval of Big Blues Bender. Cameras, cell phone, and personal use devices are acceptable (subject to artist approval).

There is no dress code at the Big Blues Bender. It is a casual event.

I want to be a Vendor at the Bender. What do I need to do?

Send an email to Bender Support with the name of the company, and the product you are interested in selling and we will contact you. *** License and insurance are required by the property to be a vendor.

Can I be a food vendor at the Bender?

Unfortunately, food and drinks vendors are not permitted to sell on property.

Can we leave the hotel?

All Bender attendees will be given a unique wristband that allows them access to all of our venues. You are absolutely free to come and go as you please. Explore Fremont Street Experience, nap in your room, see as much or as little of any set as you wish. As long as you are wearing your wristband, you will have no problem.

What is the address of the Plaza Hotel & Casino?

The Plaza Hotel & Casino is located in downtown Las Vegas at 1 South Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101.

Do the rooms have refrigerators. What amenities are included in the room?

Refrigerators are only available in the Suites. The Plaza offers rentals for a fee of $20 per day and can be requested at check-in (based on availability). The hotel offers different amenities in different room types, Bender packages will list the amenities that are included in the rooms.

Will there be food and drink available for purchase on site?

Yes! There are many options for food and drinks at the Plaza Hotel and on Fremont Street.

Is there a charge to park at the hotel?

My flight is arriving early in the morning. Will I be able to check-in?

The hotel’s official check-in time is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. The hotel cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out times, as they are based on availability. Front Desk will begin checking in guests as soon as the specific room type is available. For a late check-out, please contact the Front Desk the morning of your departure and they will do their very best to accommodate you for a fee. For your convenience, the Bell Desk will store your luggage.

I would like a late check-out. What is the process?

Hotel check-out is at 11 am. If you know in advance that you will be leaving late, please contact Bender Support in advance to arrange the hotel fee. If you are on property, let the Front Desk know so that you do not get locked out of your room. For your convenience, the Bell Desk will store your luggage.

What is needed for hotel check-in?

The Plaza Hotel requires a government-issued ID and a credit card or debit card for a $100 ($500 for Derby/Penthouse suites) deposit upon check-in for incidental charges.

Can I book an extra night?

Booking your extra nights through us has its advantages! You will be able to stay in the same room which means that you will not have to pack up and check-out of the room and the resort fees and taxes are included. The option to book an extra night will be offered to you while booking your package. If you do not see the night you are wanting, PLEASE contact Bender Support for assistance.

Will tickets to the show be sold without a room package?

A limited amount of Four Day Wristbands will be available for those who do not wish to stay on-site at the Plaza Hotel. Pass includes performances, Vendor Village, Activities, Artists’ Panels & Theme Nights. ***Hotel room is not included when only purchasing a Four Day Wristbands.

Can I upgrade my package to VIP status?

If you didn’t purchase one of the Big Daddy Baller packages, which already includes VIP wristbands, you have the option to purchase a VIP wristband as an add on to your Bender package while supplies last.

With a VIP upgrade, you will receive Premium seating at most venues and a commemorative laminate.

Can I add an additional person to my room package?

Yes, it would be an additional $579 per package or $1478 for a Baller package which includes resort fee, hotel tax, and additional occupancy fee, this does not include Live Entertainment Tax.

Terms And Conditions

Terms and Conditions of the Big Blues Bender

No Refund and No Cancellation Policy:

No Refunds and No Cancellations will be issued for any reason. The event has a very strict cancellation policy and recommends that all attendees purchase travel insurance. Purchaser agrees that all sales are final. In the case of an event cancellation, refunds will be provided to attendees who have purchased for the cancelled event. Fees in relation to concluded transactions, including booking fees, delivery fees, and transaction fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. You are responsible for checking all purchase requirements, including age and identification requirements. NO REFUNDS will be processed for attendees who are denied entry due to not meeting these requirements. The purchaser of a package or Four Day Wristband understands that they are purchasing for the entire Big Blues Bender event, and not a particular artist’s performance. Thus, any of the purchasers understands, acknowledges, and WILL NOT expect a refund for the purchase of the ticket for ANY talent cancellations for ANY REASON. Artist’s line-ups and schedules are subject to change at ANY time. ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

Prebook Cancellations:

The $250 prebook deposit is refundable, minus a $25 administration fee. If the Big Blues Bender 2018 sells out before you apply your prebook deposit, your deposit will be held to use towards a future Bender general on sale.

 

No-Shows:

There will be NO Refunds or credits issued for unused tickets for those who do not attend the Big Blues Bender.

When transferring a Big Blues Bender order, the primary on the reservation MUST send an email with the new guest name, address, phone number, and email address to Bender Support. Someone from Bender Support will reach out to finalize the payment and transfer.

 

Limitation of Liability:

Attendees voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the event including injury and death, whether occurring prior, during, or following the event. Attendees release the Event Organizer (AJ Presents Inc) and affiliates, partners, employees, service providers, and representatives from any claim related to, arising out of or incidental to the event or the attendee’s presence thereat.

 

Miscellaneous:

This Agreement, which you accept upon use of the Site or the Services (including the Payment Plan), comprises the entire agreement between you and Big Blues Bender regarding the use of the Site and Services and which supersedes any prior agreements between you and Big Blues Bender related to your use of the Site or Services. To the extent that FAQs are found on the Site relative to the Services being provided hereunder, such FAQs are for informational purposes only and shall not be deemed to be part of this Agreement. You are responsible for checking all purchase requirements, including age and identification requirements. NO REFUNDS or Credits will be processed for attendees who are denied entry due to not meeting these requirements.

 

Photographic / AV equipment:

You are not permitted to broadcast or narrowcast by any means whatsoever (including, without limitation, by way of mobile telephone, modem or other wireless device) any images, sounds, data, results, or commentary of or concerning any event without the prior written consent of the Big Blues Bender. Event attendees consent to the use of his or her image, likeness, action and statement with any recorded form of media including, without limit, audio, photograph or video.

 

Wristband Policy:

We do NOT mail wristbands. Wristbands will be available for pickup at Bender Support will call (onsite at the Plaza Hotel). Attendees will receive their wristband(s) that will be attached to the attendees by a Bender Support team member. The wristbands must be worn the entire event. PLEASE DO NOT remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way. Wristbands will not be replaced if stolen, damaged, lost, or destroyed or you will be denied entry to the event. Wristbands are not transferable.

 

 

Scalping:

Purchaser agrees not to re-sell or offer to re-sell any wristband or package at a premium or to use any of the wristbands for advertising, promotional, or other commercial purposes (including contests) without the prior written consent of the Big Blues Bender. If your wristband is sold or used in violation of this condition, the bearer of the wristband may be denied admission to the event.

 

Currency:

Unless otherwise indicated, all prices are expressed in US dollars and include applicable hotel taxes, resort fees and 9% Live Entertainment Tax. Taxes and fees are subject to change without notice.

 

Event Organizer:

RezMagic is not the manager, organizer, promoter, producer or venue operator (“Event Organizer”) of the Big Blues Bender. RezMagic is the online reservation agent for and on behalf of the Event Organizer. The Event Organizer is AJ Presents Inc. Purchaser agrees that any dispute arising from this agreement falls under the jurisdiction of Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada. Only packages or wristbands purchased from the Event Organizer through authorized outlets are valid for admission. Event Organizer reserves the right to alter artists scheduled to perform at this event if determined to be necessary. Big Blues Bender reserves the right to increase published prices. In the event of an increase, only new reservations will be affected. Any reservations made prior to the increase will be protected at the rate they were booked at originally. The Event Organizer reserves the right to deny admission for reasons including, without limitation: intoxication, disorderly behavior, failure to observe lawful direction, possession of voided wristbands, or safety precautions.
