What is Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance is a plan you purchase that protects you from certain financial risks and losses that can occur while traveling. These losses can be minor, or significant, like a last-minute trip cancellation or a medical emergency.

The Event has a very strict cancellation policy and HIGHLY recommends that all guests purchase travel insurance. You will be able to add travel insurance when purchasing your package. To add travel insurance to your reservation after you have purchased a package, contact Travel Guard at 877-249-5376.

How do I sign up for the Bender mailing list?

Are there refunds? Can I get my money back? Can I get a credit?

There are NO REFUNDS, NO CANCELLATIONS, and NO CREDITS under any circumstances on any orders. The event has a stringent cancellation policy and recommends that all guests invest in Travel Insurance. What payment types do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and checks are all accepted. No checks will be processed within 30 days of the packages onsale.

What is a Pre-book Deposit?

A Pre-book deposit lets you book a package for the 2020 Big Blues Bender before the General Public are allowed to purchase. Please note that the Pre-book deposit is NOT a ticket to the event.

  • Pre-book deposits are non-transferable.
  • Big Blues Bender $250 Pre-book deposits purchased prior to the announcement of date & venue are 100% refundable. After the dates & venue have been announced the $250 Pre-book deposit is refundable (minus a $25 administrative fee) until August 1, 2020, if it has not been used.
  • Pre-books purchased between 9/7/19 and 9/14/19 will have first access to inventory, followed by Pre-books purchased after 9/14/19
  • Your Pre-book deposit is valid for one package. Only ONE guest needs to purchase per package.
  • Pre-book deposits are associated with the name and email address of the person purchasing and CANNOT be shared.
  • Your roommate, spouse, etc, will be added at a later time when you select your package. NO NEED FOR ADDITIONAL PRE-BOOKS.
  • The Pre-book deposit is NOT a ticket to the event. It grants you the opportunity to purchase your 2020 Big Blues Bender package prior to the beginning of general onsale.
  • Pre-book deposits can be made from now until the general announcement is made. The general announcement will state the initial lineup, available packages, and prices.
  • Following the general announcement, there will be a Pre-booking period of 2 days for Group A & Group B, wherein purchasers of this Pre-book deposit will be allowed to book their packages.
  • Pre-bookers will receive an email prior to or in conjunction with the general announcement. It will give you step-by-step instructions on how to redeem your Pre-book credit and book your package.
  • This $250 Pre-book deposit will be deducted from the price of your package. The final total cost of your package will vary depending on room type, the number of occupants, add-ons, etc.
  • At the conclusion of the Pre-book period, our remaining inventory will be made available to the General public on 12/12/2019.
  • If you do not book your package during the Pre-book time, you will still be able to apply your Pre-book credit during the general sale period.
  • If the 2020 Big Blues Bender sells out before you apply your Pre-book credit, it can be held for use towards a future Big Blues Bender.

Can multiple people who purchased a Pre-book credit buy one package and still get their credit?

Yes, the $250 credit will be applied and deducted from each balance. The reservation needs to be set up for each person to have payment responsibility so that the credit gets applied (Pre-book credits are associated with the name and email address when purchased). For example, when the reservation is being set up online, make sure that the payment responsibility is set for the # of people paying, instead of only one person being 100% responsible for payment.

***When entering the guests info make sure that the name is entered exactly as it appears when the Pre-book was purchased (see confirmation email).

What if I didn’t Pre-book? When can I purchase?

If you did not purchase a Pre-book deposit, you will not be able to purchase during the Pre-book sale period. Once guests who have Pre-booked have selected their packages, all remaining inventory will be available to the General Public two (2) days later. Onsale dates TBA.

How do I purchase a package or wristbands?

What is a Big Blues Bender account?

A Big Blues Bender account is your user profile. All attendees are required to have an account in order to purchase packages & wristbands. To create an account click on the Big Blues Bender Account Login

What do I need to book a package or wristbands?

You will need to log in to or create a Big Blues Bender account to purchase. You will also need your guest(s) information for the reservation (name as it appears on government issued ID, billing address, phone number, email address, and date of birth). If you’ve attended the Big Blues Bender at least once since 2016 or purchased a Pre-book deposit, you will already have a username (no need to create a new account). If you or a guest need a Bender Username, you can create one during the booking process or in advance.

Can I use a nickname or my stage name when I purchase?

Sorry, but NO. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE nicknames, but you will NOT be able to check in to your hotel room or pick up your music wristbands, and then you will miss out on all the fun. NO refunds or credits will be issued.

Can my roommate and I split the payments and use separate credit cards?

Yes, each guest can log in individually to make payments for their share of the package with their own credit card information. When making the reservation, the Primary Guest can pay for their portion of the item, but the reservation must be brought current within 72 hours. The Primary Guest is responsible for making sure the reservation is current within 72 hours or will risk cancellation.

I do not have a roommate yet. Will I be able to add the name at a later date?

Yes. You can add your guest(s) information later, but fees will apply after July 19, 2020.

How do I add the name of my guest to the reservation? How do I change the name of my guest on the reservation and is there a fee involved?

ONLY the Primary Guest on the reservation can add a name by contacting Bender Support using the Contact Form (not the hotel). All changes must be made in writing. Please include the reservation number, name of your guest (as it appears on state-issued ID), date of birth, phone number, and their email address. No fees will be charged through July 18, 2020, changing names after July 18, 2020, incur fees of $25 for each attendee. All name additions after August 10, 2020, will incur a fee of $75 per person. No changes or additions will be allowed, including adding unnamed guests after August 17, 2020, and must be done in person at Bender Support check in, and will incur the fees.

Please note: If the guest that is being removed has a balance, that will become the Primary Guest’s responsibility. Any payments made by the guest that is being removed will NOT be refunded to said guest. It is between the Primary Purchaser & their guest(s) involved in the reservation to work out the finances and fees.

Can I make changes to my reservation?

All changes MUST be in writing. Only the Primary Guest can request to change or remove existing guests or to upgrade to a higher priced category. Downgrading your package to a lesser value is not allowed. The Primary Guest must request these changes by contacting Bender support using the Contact Form and someone from Bender Support will get back to you.

What is the deadline to make any changes to my reservation?

The FINAL deadline is August 17, 2020. To make a change the Primary Guest needs to contact support using the Contact Form (not the hotel). All changes must be made in writing. Please include your name, reservation number, and the change(s) needed. No changes or additions will be allowed, including adding unnamed guests, after August 17, 2020. After that day, they must be done in person at Bender Support check in, and will incur a fee.

I called the Hotel to make a change to my reservation and they do not have it. Why does the Hotel not have my reservation?

We do not send reservations to the hotel until late June. If you call the hotel before then, they will not have your reservation on file. Hotel staff is instructed to send guests back to the Big Blues Bender for us to assist you.

I reserved a pre/post night through the Big Blues Bender and would like to cancel the extra night. Can I cancel at the hotel front desk and receive a refund?

You can cancel but you will not receive a refund or credit if you purchased with us (refunds will NOT be issued for any reason). If you booked through the hotel, you will have to check their refund policy at the front desk. If you are unsure of with whom you purchased the extra night, please contact Bender Support using the Contact Form. If you have this question during the event, please go to Bender Support.

I cannot attend the Big Blues Bender. Can I transfer my package/wristbands to someone?

All changes must be made in writing. Before the transfer can be considered complete and valid, there is a transfer fee that must be paid. The transfer fees are $50 through August 10, 2020, and $100 for transfers made after August 10, 2020.

When transferring a Big Blues Bender reservation, the Primary Guest MUST send Bender Support an email using the Contact Form. Include your name and reservation number, along with the new guest name(s), address, phone number, & email address, including who will be paying the transfer fee. Someone from Bender Support will reach out to finalize the payment and transfer. We cannot accept any changes after August 17, 2020. If there is a balance on the reservation, the balance must be paid before the transfer process begins.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes, we have a payment plan available. All purchases are not refundable.

  • Standard Initial payment – $500 or $250 per person + $25 per person one-time fee
  • Standard First payment – 50% of the balance is due on March 20, 2020
  • Standard Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 19, 2020

 

  • Baller Initial payment – $1000 ($2000 for a package for 4 guests) or $500 per person + $50 per person one-time fee
  • Baller First payment – 50% of the balance is due on  March 20, 2020
  • Baller Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 19, 2020

Missed Payments

  • Seven (7) business days after missing a scheduled payment, a late fee of $20 will be added to the reservation. Fourteen (14) business days after missing a scheduled payment, a final cancellation notice is sent, and the reservation will be canceled within five (5) business days, and NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be issued back to the guest(s).
  •  If you are unable to make a payment as scheduled, please contact Bender Support using the Contact Form PRIOR to the payment due date to avoid cancellation of the entire order.
  • ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Event

When does the 2020 Big Blues Bender go on sale?

Tuesday 12/10, 9 am PT: GROUP A Pre-book Tokens become active. At this time, members of Group A will be able to access our booking system and purchase their 2020 Bender Packages.

Wednesday 12/11, 9 am PT: GROUP B Pre-book Tokens become active. At this time, members of Group B will be able to access our booking system and purchase their 2020 Bender Packages.

Thursday 12/12, 9 am PT: GENERAL ON SALE. If you have not used your Token by this time, you will no longer need it to enter the system. You can make your selection along with the general public, and your $250 pre-book deposit will still be on your account and will still be applied when you make your purchase.

When do we receive our wristbands in the mail?

We do NOT send out wristbands. Your actual “ticket” will be a wristband that will be available during the event at Bender Support starting Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Wristbands are applied by a Bender staff member upon check-in at Bender Support.

Can someone else pick up my wristbands at will call?

No, each guest must show their state issued ID when picking up their wristbands.

What is the age limit?

Attendees 18 & over are welcome to the event and can attend most performances.

Since marijuana is legal, I can smoke it anywhere, right?

NO. The regulations ban consumption everywhere except for private residences. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have issued warnings that smoking marijuana is not allowed on the Strip, or anywhere in the city except for private homes.

Am I guaranteed access to all shows?

All of the shows are General Admission (sections are reserved, seats are not). There are multiple shows happening at the same time and there are performances where capacity is limited; however, most artists perform multiple times during the Bender.

Are the seats reserved?

Big Daddy Baller, VIP, and General Admission sections are reserved. Individual seats are NOT reserved. Seating is first come, first served. We ask that you DO NOT move chairs and/or save seats in any venue so that we’re able to accommodate as many guests as comfortably as possible. Please help to keep ADA seating areas clear for those guests who need special assistance.

The artist that I wanted to see is no longer playing. What’s up with that?

The purchaser understands that they are purchasing for the entire Big Blues Bender event and not a particular artist’s performance. Thus, all purchasers understand, acknowledge, and will NOT expect a refund for any of the items purchased in the event of any talent cancellations, for any reason. Artist’s line-ups and schedules are subject to change at any time.

Is there a charge to park at the event?

Do we have to wear our wristbands for the entire event?

Wristbands MUST be worn at ALL TIMES. Do not remove, stretch, or tamper with your wristband in any way. Sharing wristbands is NOT allowed. Wristbands will not be replaced if stolen, damaged, lost, or destroyed. Wristbands that need to be replaced will be charged full price (subject to availability). Wristbands are not transferable.

What should I bring with me?

Can I use my camera?

You are allowed to take photos and videos for non-commercial/personal use with your cell phone or small digital camera. SLR’s and professional glass may not be used in any venue without first obtaining media credentials. Photography restrictions may be implemented during the event due to a given artist’s policy or at the discretion of the event staff.

You are not permitted to broadcast or narrowcast by any means whatsoever (including, without limitation, by way of mobile telephone, modem, or other wireless device) any images, sounds, data, results, or commentary of or concerning any event, without the prior written consent of the Big Blues Bender. Event attendees consent to the use of their image, likeness, action, and statement with any recorded form of media including, without limit, audio, photograph, or video.

Can we leave the hotel?

All Big Blues Bender attendees will be given a unique wristband that allows them access to all of our venues. You are free to come and go as you please. As long as you are wearing your wristband, you will have no problem.

What is the HART Fund Charity Event?

The Big Blues Bender proudly presents the annual star-studded charity event that benefits the Handy Artists Relief Trust (HART). The Blues Foundation established the HART Fund (Handy Artists Relief Trust) for Blues musicians and their families in financial need due to a broad range of health concerns and aid in medical assistance.

Can I buy tickets to the HART Fund Charity Event if I did not purchase for the Big Blues Bender?

The HART Fund event is ONLY open to Big Blues Bender attendees that are already on property and have picked up their wristbands at Bender Support. Attendees picking up their wristbands will have to show their state-issued ID (wristbands are applied by Bender staff).

My flight is arriving early in the morning? Will I be able to check in?

The official hotel check-in time is at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am. The hotel cannot guarantee early check-in or late checkout times, as they are based upon availability and will incur a fee. Front Desk will begin checking in guests as soon as the specific room type is available. For your convenience, the Bell Desk will store your luggage.

What is needed for hotel check-in?

Hotel requires a government-issued photo ID and a major credit card at check in for an incidental fee. The deposit fee is $100 for standard rooms and $200.00 for Baller Suites. Cash is NOT accepted for incidental deposits

Can I book an extra night?

Booking your extra nights through us has its advantages! You will be able to stay in the same room which means that you will not have to pack up and check out of the room once you’ve already settled in, and the resort fees and taxes are included. The option to book an extra night will be offered to you while booking your package. If you do not see the night you are needing; PLEASE contact Bender Support using the Contact Form  for assistance.

A limited amount of Four Day Wristbands will be available for those who do not wish to stay on-site. The pass includes performances, Vendor Village, Activities, Artists’ Panels & Theme Nights. ***Hotel room is not included when only purchasing Four Day Wristbands.

If you didn’t purchase a Big Daddy Baller package, which already includes VIP privileges, you have the option to purchase a VIP/Baller wristband as an add on to your Bender package, while supplies last.

Can I add additional people to my room package?

You sure can! The cost to add a guest to a standard package is $579.00 + $44.91 LET per person, the cost to add a Baller is $1599.00 + $44.91 LET per person (includes resort fee and hotel tax).

The Primary Guest must send an email to Bender Support using the Contact Form (NOT THE HOTEL). All changes MUST be made in writing. Please include the name of the guest as it appears on their state-issued ID, date of birth, phone number, and email address. Someone from Bender Support will reach out when the reservation has been updated.

We do NOT offer travel insurance. There are NO REFUNDS, NO CANCELLATIONS or NO CREDITS issued under any circumstances, on any orders, and we recommend that all attendees purchase travel insurance. We highly recommend travel insurance for the unexpected (medical emergency, natural disasters, trip cancellation, etc.) Travel insurance is frequently offered by your standard insurance company or credit card company, so we suggest checking with them.

Terms and Conditions of the Big Blues Bender

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS & EVENT INFO PRIOR TO PURCHASING.

Payment Plan Schedule: Three Payments:

  • Standard Initial payment – $500 or $250 per person + $25 per person one-time fee
  • Standard First payment – 50% of the balance is due on March 20, 2020
  • Standard Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 19, 2020
  • Baller Initial payment – $1000 ($2000 for a package for 4 guests) or $500 per person + $50 per person one-time fee
  • Baller First payment – 50% of the balance is due on  March 20, 2020
  • Baller Final payment – the REMAINING balance is due on June 19, 2020

No Refunds and No Cancellation Policy:

  • NO Refunds, NO Cancellations, or Credits will be issued for any reason – even for bad weather or medical emergencies. Once items are purchased, they are non-refundable.
  • The event has a stringent cancellation policy and recommends that all attendees purchase travel insurance.
  • Purchaser agrees that all sales are final. In the case of an event cancellation, refunds will only be provided to the original purchaser of the package/wristband (NOT VALID ON TRANSFERS).
  • Fees are non-refundable, including booking fees, flights, and transaction fees.
  • You are responsible for checking all purchase requirements including age and identification requirements. No Refunds will be processed for attendees who are denied entry due to not having met these requirements.
  • The purchaser understands that they are purchasing for the entire Big Blues Bender event and not a particular artist’s performance. Thus, all purchasers understand, acknowledge, and will not expect a refund for any of the items purchased in the event of any talent cancellations for any reason. Once tickets are purchased, they are non-refundable.
  • Artist’s line-ups and schedules are subject to change at any time.
  • ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Travel Insurance: 

The Big Blues Bender has a very strict cancellation policy. ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you would like to protect your investment, we strongly recommend the purchase of Travel insurance. Travel Insurance is a plan you purchase that protects you from certain financial risks and losses that can occur while traveling. These losses can be minor, or significant, like a last-minute trip cancellation or a medical emergency. Travel insurance will be offered when purchasing your package.

Missed Payments:

  • Seven (7) business days after missing a scheduled payment, a late fee of $20 will be added to the reservation. Fourteen (14) business days after missing a scheduled payment, a final cancellation notice is sent, and the reservation will be canceled within five (5) business days, and NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be issued back to the guest(s).
  • If you are unable to make a payment as scheduled, please contact Bender Support using the Contact Form PRIOR to the payment due date to avoid cancellation of the entire order.
  • ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Name Additions & Name Changes: 

  • Primary Guests that need to make a reservation change must send an email to Bender Support using the Contact Form (NOT THE HOTEL). All changes MUST be made in writing.
  • The Primary Guest is the only person on the reservation that can make guest changes, such as adding, removing a guest, or changing a name.
  • If a guest that is being removed from a reservation has a balance, the balance will become the Primary Guests responsibility. Any payments made by the guest that is being removed will NOT be refunded and NO credit will be issued. It is between the guests in the reservation to work out the finances and fees.
  • No fees will be charged through July 18, 2020. Changing any name(s) after July 18, 2020 will incur a fee of $25 for each attendee. All name changes & additions after August 10, 2020, will incur a fee of $75 per person.
  • No changes or additions will be allowed, including adding unnamed guests after August 17, 2020, and must be done in person at Bender Support check in, and will incur the fees.
  • To remove or add a guest from your reservation, please send an email to Bender Support and include your name, reservation number, and the guest name.

Reservation Changes: 

  • All changes MUST be in writing.
  • Only the Primary Guest can request to change or remove existing guests.
  • Upgrading to a higher priced category is allowed, downgrading to a lesser value item is not allowed.
  • The Primary Guest must request changes by contacting Bender support using the Contact Form (NOT THE HOTEL). The final deadline to make changes is August 17, 2020. No changes or additions will be allowed, including adding unnamed guests after August 17, 2020, and must be done in person at Bender Support check in, and will incur a fee.
  • Please note: If the guest that is being removed had a balance, that will become the Primary Guests responsibility. Any payments made by the guest that is being removed will NOT be refunded to the guest being removed. It is between the guests in the reservation to work out the finances and fees.

Transfers:

  • All changes must be made in writing.
  • Before the transfer can be considered complete and valid, there is a transfer fee that must be paid. The transfer fees are $50 through August 10, 2020, and $100 for transfers made after August 10, 2020.
  • When transferring a Big Blues Bender reservation, the Primary Guest MUST send Bender Support an email using the Contact Form. Include your name and reservation number, along with the new guest name(s), address, phone number, & email address, including who will be paying the transfer fee. Someone from Bender Support will reach out to finalize the payment and transfer. We cannot accept any changes after August 17, 2020.
  • If there is a balance on the reservation, the balance must be paid before the transfer process begins.

No-Shows:

  • NO Refunds or credits will be issued for unused packages/wristbands for those who do not attend the Big Blues Bender.

Pre-book Deposits: 

  • The $250 Prebook deposit is refundable until August 1, 2020, minus a $25 administration fee.
  • Please note that the refund will be in the form of a company check and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • If the Big Blues Bender 2020 sells out before you apply your Pre-book deposit, you will be able to use your deposit towards a future Bender general on sale.
  • Pre-book deposits are non-transferable.

Wristband Policy:

  • We do NOT send out wristbands. Your actual “ticket” will be a wristband that will be available during the event at Bender Support starting Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Wristbands are applied by a Bender staff member upon check-in at Bender Support.
  • The wristbands must be worn the entire event. Wristbands cannot be shared. PLEASE DO NOT remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way. Wristbands will not be replaced if stolen, damaged, lost, or destroyed, and you will be denied entry to the event.
  • Wristbands that need to be replaced will be charged full price (subject to availability).
  • Wristbands are not transferable.

Photographic / AV equipment:

  • You are allowed to take photos and videos for non-commercial/personal use with your cell phone or small digital camera. Professional cameras including SLR/DSLR or cameras with detachable lenses will not be allowed without the proper approved media credentials. Photography restrictions may be implemented during the event due to a given artist’s policy or at the discretion of the event staff.
  • Media credentials MUST be approved in advance. ALL requests must be submitted by August 14, 2020 to be considered.
  • You are not permitted to broadcast or narrowcast by any means whatsoever (including, without limitation, by way of mobile telephone, modem, or other wireless devices) any images, sounds, data, results, or commentary of or concerning any event without the prior written consent of the Big Blues Bender.
  • Event attendees consent to the use of their image, likeness, action, and statement with any recorded form of media including, without limit, audio, photograph, or video.

Pricing Errors:

  • If the amount that you pay for an item is incorrect, regardless of whether it is a system error, a price error posted on our website or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order an item before its scheduled on-sale date, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to charge you the difference. This policy will apply regardless of how the error occurred.

Scalping:

  • Purchaser agrees not to re-sell or offer to re-sell any wristband or package at a premium, or to use any of the wristbands for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes (including competitions) without the prior written consent of the Big Blues Bender.
  • If your wristband is sold or used in violation of this condition, the bearer of the wristband may be denied admission to the event.
  • NO REFUNDS or Credits will be issued.

Currency:

  • Unless otherwise indicated, all prices are expressed in US dollars and include applicable hotel taxes, resort fees, and 9% Live Entertainment Tax.
  • Taxes and fees are subject to change without notice.

Miscellaneous:

  • This Agreement, which you accept upon use of the Site or the Services (including the Payment Plan), comprises the entire agreement between you, Bender Presents and the Big Blues Bender regarding the use of the Site and Services, and supersedes any prior agreements between you, Bender Presents and the Big Blues Bender related to your use of the Site or Services. To the extent that FAQs are found on the Site relative to the Services being provided hereunder, such FAQs are for informational purposes only and shall not be deemed to be part of this Agreement.
  • You are responsible for checking all purchase requirements including age and identification requirements. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be issued for attendees who are denied entry due to not meeting these requirements.

Limitation of Liability:

  • Attendees voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the event including injury and death, whether occurring prior, during, or following the event.
  • Attendees release the Event Organizer (Bender Presents Inc) and affiliates, partners, employees, service providers and representatives from any claim related to, arising out of or incidental to the event or the attendee’s presence thereat.

Event Organizer:

  • RezMagic is not the manager, organizer, promoter, producer, or venue operator (“Event Organizer”) of Bender Presents. RezMagic is the online reservation agent for and on behalf of the Event Organizer. The Event Organizer is Bender Presents. Purchaser agrees that any dispute arising from this agreement falls under the jurisdiction of Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • ONLY Packages and wristbands purchased from Bender Presents outlets are valid for admission.
  • Bender Presents reserves the right to alter artists scheduled to perform at this event if determined to be necessary.
  • Bender Presents reserves the right to increase published prices. In the event of an increase, only new reservations will be affected. Any reservations made prior to the increase will be protected at the rate at which they were booked.
  • Bender Presents reserves the right to deny admission for reasons including, without limitation: intoxication, disorderly behavior, failure to observe lawful direction, possession of voided wristbands or safety precautions.
