Artist at Large... When folks think of superior Blues instrumentation guitar, keyboards, Blues harp, and saxophone come to mind but rarely ever trombone. Out of the evergreen state of Washington comes a Blues Man that has taken the deep driving sound of this slide instrument to a whole new level. He has a thick grin that fronts a positive, good-humored attitude that surely comes through on every note he exhales. Randy honed his craft while serving in the US Army's multifaceted military band in Europe and Monterey, California. After years of night tripping road touring, Randy has total control of the trombone and uses the full extent on the instrument's tonal range. Randy has a clear impeccable sense of timing with every artist he accompanies.
