2023, 2018, 2016Bob Margolin is a well respected and much sought after Blues Artist. Headlining his dynamic Blues outfit since 1980, he has played thousands of gigs, recorded 11 solo albums and has played on and produced countless others. Honing his guitar and vocal style with the legendary Muddy Waters, Bob went on to have fabulous collaborations with B.B. King, Dr. John, Paul Butterfield, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson and many other Blues Luminaries. Also, Bob was part of The Band's Martin Scorsese production of the famed “Last Waltz” concert and film that garnered worldwide critical acclaim. This Living Blues Legend has been a part of several Grammy Award winning recordings, won numerous Blues Music Awards, has been awarded the Blues Foundation's prestigious “Keeping The Blues Alive” Award for Journalism, led workshops and written numerous instructional books. He is currently riding the success of his wildly popular 2016 album "My Road". This latest studio effort is a real crystal clear reflection of his well seasoned originality and domineering personality. Bob continues to light up stages around the globe with his one-of-a-kind style, all the while, paying honor to the valuable heritage from his years working the road and studio with Blues Master Muddy Waters. By any definition, Bob Margolin is an American original, a well decorated Master Bluesman and a definite must see for any true Blues fan.
