Individually and together, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks possess untouchable musical pedigrees, but it is their collective heart, honesty, and full-band collaboration that defines the revered 12-piece Tedeschi Trucks Band. Formed in 2010, the powerhouse collective has established itself as one of modern music's most formidable live forces, seamlessly fusing blues, soul, funk, rock, and American roots traditions into an unmistakable signature sound.
Tedeschi Trucks Band made an immediate mark with their 2011 debut album, Revelator, which earned the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. Over the following decade, the group solidified its standing among rock and roots royalty. Highlights from their journey include 2018's Grammy-nominated Live From the Fox Oakland, 2022's ambitious four-part conceptual album I Am The Moon, and multiple Band of the Year honors at the Blues Music Awards in 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2023.
Beyond studio achievements, the band’s live prowess has filled iconic venues across the globe, including sold-out performances at Madison Square Garden and over 20 headline appearances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tedeschi and Trucks performed at the 2024 Kennedy Center Honors, and the full ensemble anchored an all-star tribute set at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring Joe Cocker.
The group’s sixth studio album, Future Soul, represents a bold sonic evolution. Comprising 11 original tracks—including standout singles "I Got You," "Who Am I," and the title track—the record pairs the band’s deep-seated soul roots with a raw, energetic drive. To craft the collection, the core songwriting team of Tedeschi, Trucks, Mike Mattison, Gabe Dixon, and Tyler Greenwell partnered with producer Mike Elizondo.
